St. Elizabeth College of Nursing is a two-year private, non-profit college founded in 1904.
We offer an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing with curriculum plans designed to meet your educational needs. Our programs provide the best preparation to work in today's health care environment, a one to one relationship with faculty, experience with top of the line technology and the most extensive hands-on clinical experience available in a nursing program today!

Campus and Location
St. Elizabeth's campus is located in Utica, New York within the scenic Mohawk Valley. At the foot of the Adirondack Mountains, the College is approximately 90 miles west of Albany and 45 miles east of Syracuse. Students can enjoy the local area landmarks such as the Stanley Theater, Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, Barge Canal Trails, FX Matt Brewery and much more.
Our Students and Faculty
Our student enrollment is approximately 150 - 200 each academic year. With 17 faculty members, the student-faculty ratio is 9:1 and the average class size is 35 - 80 students depending on the nursing courses. The combination of small classes, and one to one relationship with their faculty advisor, creates an ideal learning environment.
Career & Continuing Education Opportunities
The Mohawk Valley region offers a variety of nursing positions in acute office and long-term care. Continuing educational opportunities exist within the community for those wishing to pursue advance practice nursing degrees.
Costs & Financial Aid
Estimated costs for the nursing program is under $41,000.00. This includes tuition, fees, uniforms and required textbooks. 95% of our students that file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are awarded some form of financial aid.
