As Alumni President, I would like to welcome you to the Alumni Association webpage.
The Alumni Association members place a high value on quality nursing education of SECON students and are dedicated to supporting resources to enhance that education. We are fortunate to have a vast network of Alumni spanning decades, careers, and the globe. We offer multiple means of communication to connect or reconnect with your fellow graduates. Whether your motivation is professional, intellectual, social, or even a little of all three, the Association is here to help.
Membership dues support our scholarship fund that continues to provide assistance to meet the needs of students. In an effort to adapt to the fast-paced, ever-changing and rapidly expanding field of nursing, additional donations to the College enhance the student experience. Please know that your contributions will have a significant impact for alumni and students as well as the future of the College.
If you are interested in becoming a more active Alumni member, please join us for our annual Alumni Banquet which is held each year on the last Friday in April. Information regarding the banquet, including the RSVP card and information about dues is contained in the Aurora. The Aurora is a shared publication between the College of Nursing and the Alumni Association. If you do not receive an Aurora by the middle of February each year send an email to KatharineRN@gmail.com and I will make sure to add your name to our mailing list. Additionally, I would like to invite you to join our Facebook page to get the latest news and updates.
The Alumni Association is very proud of it's students and graduates and we thank you for your continued support. We hope to see you in April at the annual Alumni Banquet.
Katharine Sterling, BSN, RN, CMSRN
