Weekday Program
The College offers a weekday program, fully integrating theoretical learning with clinical experiences within a caring environment. Our weekday program classes are typically in session from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm each day, with a 6:00 am start time on clinical days. Students may also be scheduled for evening clinical rotations at various times during the program.
Weekday Program - 3 Year Track
This program is designed for high school graduates or students that want to complete their general education and/or science courses before beginning the nursing sequence of the program.
Evening/Weekend Program
This program is designed to meet the needs of the student who is unable to attend classes during the traditional weekday hours. Classes are held every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm as well as Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Students will generally attend two weekends on with one weekend off.
SUNY Poly/SECON (1+2+1) Nursing Partnership Pathway
The 1+2+1 Nursing Partnership Pathway, instituted in 2008, is an innovative partnership that provides students the opportunity to earn two degrees in four years; an AAS Degree from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing (SECON) and a BS from SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly).
Clinical Experiences
St. Elizabeth College of Nursing offers clinical experiences throughout the community at the Wynn Hospital, Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse and various community agencies. During specific areas of study, other health facilities may be used to fulfill course objectives.
